Man deserts family to sleep in toilet

is my husband and I do not know why he opts to sleep in a toilet at his workplace. He works at number 92 along Cameron Street.
“At one time he sneaked into our house in my absence and took his clothes and blankets, which he is using at his workplace. I go and try to bring him back home and he assaults me,” she said.
Judith said several attempts to bring him home were fruitless.
“I have a child with him and he is not paying rent or bringing food home. He buys food for breakfast, lunch and supper in town when we are hungry at home.
“Our child is more than six-years-old and he doesn’t have a birth certificate.
“He is not going to school and in turn he says I will tell you when I want to get the birth certificate for the child.
“If it is possible I can help him carry his things back home and I still love him.”
Earlier on, Grievious said Judith used to come to his workplace where she harassed him everyday.
“She comes to work and harasses me in front of my employer.
“At one time I ended up beating her because she could not listen to me. There are problems at home and I cannot go there,” he said.
However, he refused to disclose to the court the kind of problems at home.
Harare magistrate, Mr Milton Serima, ordered Grievious to return home and take care of his wife and child.
