A SHURUGWI man died after three of his friends struck him with a chair that cut his head in a fight over the a�?sexiesta�? hooker in town.
The Incident happened on 30 December around 1AM at a local night club where, the deceased, Gift Mukwendi (26) and the hooker Priscilla Munagaga were having a couple of beers.
According to an eye witness, Takura Chamutsa, commotion started when one of Mukwendia��s friends Tonderai Ngulube (28) demanded a a�?handover take overa�? of the a�?sexya�? hooker after winning a game of cards when they gambled.
Mukwendi argued that he had only two hours before letting Munagaga go since she was in high demand.
Ngulube then called his friends Nyasha Ncube and Levy Sibangana to help him get the woman from Mukwendi.
a�?The trio ganged up and they started kicking Mukwendi and beating him using stools that were in the bar,a�? said Chamusta.
He added that Mukwendi fell down unconscious and Ngulube lifted a bar chair which he used to strike him on his head, in the process penetrating into his forehead.
Mukwendi was rushed to a nearby hospital but efforts to save him were fruitless.
Midlands Police spokesperson Inspector Joel Goko confirmed the incident and he said they managed to catch Ngulube and Ncube while Sibangana is still on the run.
