THE body of an unidentified man was found dumped in a car outside Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals in Harare yesterday.
The body had a stab wound in the chest.
National police spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, confirmed the incident.
He said police were investigating a suspected case of murder.
“The unidentified man is between the ages of 30 and 35 years.
“He was found dead in a Honda Fit, registration number ADW 5062,” he said.
Ass Comm Nyathi said the victim was found with a stab wound on the chest.
“Investigations show that the now deceased had a stab wound on the chest. “The vehicle was parked at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals pedestrian gate at around 6am.”
One of the first people to arrive at the scene, Lameck Kwari, said:
“I saw the man and touched him to see if he was still alive, but unfortunately he was already dead.
“I then rushed to make a report to the police.”
Ass Comm Nyathi appealed to anyone who might have information concerning the incident to report at any nearest police station.
