A 26-YEAR-OLD man from Sizinda in Bulawayo broke into a spare bedroom at his home and sneaked into his visitor’s blankets before fondling her breasts.He appeared before Bulawayo Western Commonage magistrate Willard Maphios Moyo on Tuesday charged with indecent assault.
Prosecutors say on March 17 Taurai Katai woke up around 1AM and went to the spare bedroom where he found his female visitor (name withheld) asleep putting on pyjamas.
“Katai sneaked into the room and proceeded to the complainant’s bed and joined her in bed. Not content, he started playing with the woman’s breasts,” prosecutor Kingston Mukanganwi said.
The woman woke up and got the shock of her life – an intruder had joined her in bed.
“When she was still in shock, Katai fondled her breasts again forcing her to jump off her bed and switching on the lights,” said the prosecutor.
The woman alerted her aunt about the issue leading to Katai’s arrest.
The trial continues on March 28.
