The man, who repeatedly raped his daughter putting on a condom, was convicted on his own plea by Gwanda regional magistrate Mr Joseph Mabeza.
The State represented by Mr Johannes Tlou said on 1 August this year, during the night, the man entered into a spare bedroom where the complainant was sleeping with her younger sister.
While inside the room, he ordered his younger daughter, who was still awake, to sleep. When the younger sister was asleep, the man ordered the complainant to proceed to his bedroom but she refused.
He dragged her to his bedroom, pushed her on to the bed and raped her while putting on a condom.
The man went on to threaten her with death if she disclosed the matter to anyone.
He continued raping his daughter until 27 August when the complainant’s suspicious cousin reported the matter to the police leading to the father’s arrest.
