Man on the run after Beatrice gruesome murder

A 51-year-old Beatrice man’s throat was slit with a knife following an argument last week.
Tafirenyika Kawaza (46) is wanted in connection with the case.

National police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident.

“Police in Beatrice are appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Tafirenyika Kawaza who is being sought in connection with a case of murder which occurred at Lanark Farm on September 10, 2024,” he said.

“The suspect hit the victim, Christian Chisora aged 51, with a metal object several times on the head before cutting his throat with a knife.

“The victim died on the spot. Anyone with information can report at the nearest police station.”
