Man peeps at woman, ransacks bin for her used sanitary pads

told the court that she no longer feels safe as her neighbour Regis Mutaki is invading her privacy.
“He opens my rubbish bins and looks at my used sanitary pads.
“He also peeps over the precast wall almost everyday.

“If anyone comes at my gate he comes out of his house to interrogate the person.
“All my friends are now scared to come to my house because of him. I believe as neighbours there should be some respect and privacy between us,” she said.

Responding to Mushawi’s allegations, Mutaki told the court that he was so sad because it felt like a funeral to him. “This lady is a widow and I promised her husband on his death bed that I would stand by her.

“She now has a new youthful lover who has an appetite for the hooter. He hoots at her gate like a circus clown. I approached him to advise him that he was waking my children who were asleep.
“He then poured beer on me, assaulted me and broke my spectacles,” he said.
Mutaki added that Mushawi’s lover throws used condoms in his yard.

“I approached her to talk about the issue and she started alleging that I was sifting through her bins.
“Please grant her the peace order because I don’t want to contest her since I took an undertaking to be behind her not against her. Please advise her to place an intercom at her gate,” he said.
Magistrate Ms Miriam Banda granted the peace order in Mushawi’s favour.
