A MAN who allegedly sexually attacked a woman at his flat before locking her up in a room and reportedly engaging in a sexual act with another woman has been arrested.
The man who was only identified as Cosmas allegedly partook in a beer drink last Sunday at Corner Herbert Chitepo Street and Connaught Avenue with a lady who cannot be named for ethical reasons.
Cosmas and the lady in question drank beer from 6 pm until 10 pm. After that, he asked to go to bed with her and she charged him US$15.
“He and the lady climbed the stairs to his place where upon arrival they resumed drinking beer till the lady got intoxicated,” said the source.
After that, the source claimed he dragged her to his bedroom where he allegedly sexually attacked her three times. It is alleged that he locked the woman in his bedroom before he allegedly engaged in a sexual act with another woman.
The source said Cosmas freed the lady he allegedly raped in the morning.
After that, the woman reported the matter to the police. Bulawayo Police Spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube confirmed the incident.
“We confirm the incident and warn members of the public against trusting anyone especially if they are under the influence of alcohol.”
