A HIGHFIELD man’s continued flirtation with his rich lover has cost his marriage.
Exaviers Mhaka was on Sunday caught by his wife, Patricia Ruchike, receiving cash from his lover at a secluded place.
Irked by the romance, Patricia went home and packed her belongings.
She left with her child.
Their whereabouts are yet to be established.
Exaviers told H-Metro he has been experiencing sleepless nights following the incident.
“I was caught by my wife receiving money from my old girlfriend and it didn’t sink well with her,” said Exaviers.
“It affected my wife since she knew about our affair before I married her.
“I made a mistake and this has affected my marriage, and my child, as well.
“I have checked everywhere. She left home last Sunday, around sunset, wearing a yellow dress with stripes together with our kid,” said Exaviers.
One of Patricia’s relatives said no one knows about her whereabouts.
“Yeah, murume atambura, iye achinyanya kusasiyana nezvimbuya nekuda mari.
“Iyezvino achamutsvaga kusvika avekuvhura muchikoko chemachisi achitsvaga mudzimai nemwana,” said the relative.
Patricia’s mobile number could not be reached for comment by the time of going to print.
