Man seeks assistance

A 49-year-old Zaka man suffering from a heart ailment is seeking financial assistance to enable him to undergo medical treatment in India.
Mr Charles Munodzana, who suffers from an aortic valve disease told the Herald that he needed US$14 000 to cover his expenses for the trip to India.“I need US$14 000 so that I can go for a valve replacement in India,” he said.

Aortic valve replacement is a procedure in which a patient’s failing aortic valve is replaced with an artificial heart valve.

Mr Munodzana said he was not formally employed and had no relative to help him.

“I am asking for assistance from well-wishers for me to go for valve replacement in India. I don’t have any source of income or any relative to help me,” he said.
