Man seeks help to undergo kidney transplant

Precious Manomano Herald Reporter

A man from Domboshava is appealing for help to raise US$20 000  to undergo an emergency kidney transplant in India for his 22-year-old brother.

Mr Barnabas Zimbiru said his younger brother Blessing Zimbiru was born with small kidneys and the problem worsened early this year when he began to have breathing problems.

Blessing was diagnosed with acute renal failure and he has been receiving dialysis treatment with assistance from his family, relatives and well-wishers.

“We are appealing for US$20 000 to enable Blessing to survive. We discovered the problem this year so we are therefore appealing for assistance from well-wishers, we alone as a family cannot raise the money,” he said.

Mr Zimbiru said one of the family members has pledged to donate a kidney to Blessing.

Those willing to assist can contact Barnabas Zimbiru on 0773248495.
