Man seeks to bar second wife from visiting

he had brought his second wife Yeukai Kure.
“She harasses me at home where I stay with my senior wife and four children.
“She also comes to my workplace or whenever I meet her she harasses me. Sometimes she does it under peer pressure,” he said.
“She was my girlfriend and now she claims she has my child which I am disputing.

“She came five times to my place of residence and uses foul language. I am losing my dignity in the neighbourhood and at work,” he said.
Musonza said she should claim maintenance through the court.

He also claimed that Kure’s brothers and other relatives were stalking him in bars.
In her defence, Kure said she was legally married to Musonza and said they only fight when she seeks financial support from him.
“I am not his girlfriend but we got married customarily after he introduced me to his parents.

“I visit his workplace to get money to pay rent and buy food.
“I did not want to claim maintenance all along because I wanted him to formally divorce me in my parents’ presence.”
Magistrate Ms Vongai Muchuchuti ordered Kure to stop visiting Musonza at his workplace.

“You can visit his place of residence since you have a child together and married.
“However, you are barred from his workplace since he might lose his job which is his only source of income,” she ruled.
