Man set to conduct Byo clean-up campaign

A PATRIOTIC citizen from Trenance suburb in Bulawayo is set to conduct a clean up campaign tomorrow (Thursday)  along Masotsha Ndlovu Avenue in a bid to promote cleanliness in the city.

Sinqobile Ndlovu (50) said his motivation was  in restoring the city’s status and ensuring that he educates people on the importance of cleanliness.

“This city used to be one of the cleanest cities in the country and region but the status has changed as there is a lot of litter around. I would like to urge the community to work hard in ensuring that the former status of the city is restored through cleaning in our different communities,” he said.

Ndlovu hopes that a number of residents will join in the clean up campaign.

“On Thursday, l will be conducting a clean up campaign and l hope a number of people will join me in achieving the goal of cleaning up the city. The clean up will stretch from Masotsha Ndlovu Avenue to 8th Avenue,” he said.
