A jealous 24-year-old Bulawayo man reportedly shoved a cooking stick into his estranged girlfriend’s privates after suspecting that she was dating other men.Philani Ndlovu of Mpopoma appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Gladmore Mushove yesterday charged with aggravated indecent assault.
The court heard how on Christmas Day last month, Ndlovu followed Sofunokuhle Ncube, 26, to her Newton West home on her way from church.
He picked an argument with her accusing her of dating other men and carried her to the bedroom before forcing her to lie on the bed.
It is the State’s case that Ndlovu placed Ncube’s legs on his shoulders and inserted a wooden cooking stick while performing some sexual movements.
Ndlovu left the house and returned the next day, December 26, threatening to kill Ncube for an unknown reason. Magistrate Mushove remanded Ndlovu in custody to February 7.
