Man sings apology to judge

This man gave a judge a heartfelt apology with an Adele-inspired song. Despite being guilty of unlawful imprisonment and carrying a concealed weapon he was clearly sorry for what he had done. Brian Earl Taylor belted out a “sorry” directed at the judge, his victim and his mum. Just as in the popular Adele’s song Taylor started with a “hello”.He then started to sing his well-thought out words, which he had written down ready for his moment in the spotlight.

He sang:

“Hello there, your honour. “I wanna say I’m sorry, for the thing I’ve done.”

The 25-year-old’s efforts were appreciated by Judge Darlene O’Brien at Washtenaw County Trial Court in Detroit.

She told him he was “obviously a talented young man”.

But Taylor had been arrested by police who found him struggling with another man and holding a gun to his stomach.

Police said they suspected Taylor was one of three men who forced a 23-year-old man into a vehicle at gunpoint and drove him around before robbing him.

He was sentenced to two years in prison for illegally carrying a concealed weapon and 18 months to 15 years for unlawful imprisonment. Five other charges against him in the case were dismissed.— Mirror.co.uk
