A DZIVARESEKWA man is seeking financial assistance of US$820 for injuries sustained after being stabbed by his friend over a cellphone and speaker.

It is claimed that Huwett Sithole’s friend came to his aunt’s place and started demanding his gadgets, which they had borrowed, back.

Huwett is said to have refused and his enraged friend started assaulting him.

Reports say Huwett’s aunt chased the friend out of her yard.

However, after this brief lull, the two friends started fighting again.

Huwett’s friend then took a bottle, smashed it and stabbed him all over his body until he collapsed.

He was taken to hospital where he is required to have scans conducted on his head and other X-rays.

The friend is in remand prison and is set to return to court on December 14

In an interview with the H-Metro, Huwett’s wife said:

“We are looking for financial assistance, my husband akakuvara kunyanya musoro.

Anyone willing to help can send the money or contact me on 0785 478 816.”
