A MAN, who found his friend in bed with his girlfriend, stabbed the two with a kitchen knife.
The incident occurred on Sunday.
Blessing Matsvai found Takunda Chitope, 24, and Linda Moyo, asleep in bed.
He allegedly stabbed them leading to his arrest.
He appeared before Harare regional magistrate Stanford Mambanje.
Anesu Chirenje appeared for the State.
Blessing was arrested and brought before the Harare Magistrate Court facing attempted murder charges and was remanded in custody to today after admitting to the charges.
Allegations are that Chitope and Moyo were sleeping together when Matsvai found them.
Matsvai stabbed Chitope with a kitchen knife twice.
He stabbed him below the right ear and once between the right collar bones.
He then stabbed Moyo between the left collar bone before he disappeared.
A formal police report was made and Matsvai was arrested and detained on the same day.
The State may produce a medical report and a knife used to stab complainant before the court as exhibist.
