WATCH OUT!
A Bulawayo woman Felistas Marurike cannot walk for long distances without looking over her shoulder in fear of a bitter and violent ex-husband Mduduzi Nyoni.
The two parted ways in 2015 and have a child together. However, Nyoni doesnat like it one bit that his daughter calls the new man in Marurikesa life a?daddya?.
a?He is always calling and threatening that he will kill me and himself because I left him and now Iam letting his child call my husband daddy. He says he wonat allow another man to father his child while heas still alive,a? said Marurike in court where she sought a protection order before Bulawayo magistrate Sheunesu Matova.
In his defence, Nyoni said he did not care what his ex-wife got up to but his only concern was his daughter being introduced to another a?daddya?.
a?Itas painful to see another man taking my child. It makes it hard for me to have access to my daughter. Your worship, I cannot allow this to happen because it limits me from seeing my daughter as her husband wonat be comfortable with me seeing my daughter often,a? he said.
Matova granted the protection order and advised Nyoni to stop threatening his ex-wife because it would land him in jail and he could end up not seeing his child at all.
