EMAKHANDENI, aka known as Man U are the 2022 Bulawayo Social Soccer League (BSSL) champions after scoring an avalanche of goals which gave them a healthy goal difference during the Champion of Champions mini league tournament last week held at Emakhandeni.
During their first assignment of the day, they walloped Bangane 9-0.
Against Ndola, the two teams drew 1-1 taking their total of points to four.
Second placed Ndola edged Bangane 1-0.
However, the nine points goal difference was enough to send Man U to the winners podium.

Josiah “Joker” Kashiri is feeling relieved and happy about this achievement.
“I feel relieved and happy at the same time because we have always told the guys that we are good enough to beat any of our age mates,” he said.
When asked what the feeling is like within the team Kashiri said as a team they feel proud of the success.
“As a team we feel proud to have achieved this success considering that we are self-sponsored and rely on individual contributions. Also we are the sole representative of the Emakhandeni community,” he said.
The coach believes their style of play is the reason why they were the hottest property in the league.
“Well, we have a style of play that usually involves attractive passing football which we stick to though not always possible due to the sate of some of our pitches,” he said.
Looking ahead he expressed hope that the team will maintain the same zeal and momentum so that they can retain the league trophy.
