EMAKHANDENI United “aka” Man U have qualified for the most prestigious competition in the (BSSL), the Champion of Champions tournament after coming out as the best team in Pool A.

From a total of 36 games  they are untouchable at 94 points while their nearest rivals Stars are 11 points off pace after collecting 83 points from 36 games. An excited Man U player- coach Josiah “Joker” Kashiri expressed his feelings on behalf of the team prior to today’s fixture.

“We feel very happy about it because we feel we deserved it from the first  game of the season. We have been coming up with consistent performances,” said kashiri.

Even though the remaining fixtures have no effect on their standing, they are not taking off the foot from the accelerator pedal.

“We still have to win two league games left so as to maintain our form grit and drive,” added Kashiri.

Their eyes are now on the Champion of Champions (COCs) mini tournament set for mid- December.

As such the player- coach is hopeful that his team will put maximum effort as they did throughout the season and in turn be crowned the best  team in 2022.

According to league chairman Doctor Ntandoyenkosi Sibindi winners from the three pools will sweat it out in a round robin format. The team with highest number of points will take it away.

In Pool B, it is also a done deal for Iminyela’s Ndola, who have harvested 81 points from 35 games. Their nearest rivals Legends have 74 points. However, it is still game on in Pool C where log leaders Bangane  are on 76 points and are separated by 3 points from Celtics as well as Wolves who all sit at 73 points. Bangane will be banking on their game in hand to further peel away from the two.
