MAN, WANTED FOR ALLEGEDLY KILLING NEIGHBOUR OVER A ZESA TOKEN, FOUND HIDING IN A FOWL RUN

A HARARE man, who allegedly killed his neighbour in an altercation over a ZESA token, was arrested while hiding in a fowl run in Hatfield.

Pablo Macdonald allegedly committed the crime on May 31 and had been on the run.

He is being accused of allegedly striking Vincent Steblecki with a brick on June 1, after a row between the two over a ZESA token.

The case was reported at Braeside Police Station under RRB 6861127.

Pablo was arrested yesterday, one week after the offence.

The two had a heated argument over a ZESA token.

It is alleged that Pablo picked up a brick and hit Vincent on his shoulder, and the back of his head.

He died the following day.

It is believed Pablo had been on the run before police tracked and arrested him.

He was found hiding in a fowl run in Hatfield. 

He is now in police custody.

Vincent was buried on Friday.
