Mangombe hails evening fixture

DYNAMOS FC coach Genesis Mangombe has welcomed the move to have their Castle Lager Premiership game against Ngezi Platinum played under floodlights at the National Sports Stadium tomorrow evening.

The game was initially slated for the afternoon but will now kick off at 6pm.

Mangombe believes Dynamos fans who would have struggled to attend an afternoon match during midweek, will now embrace the fixture.

He hopes the fans will come in their numbers for the team to enjoy home advantage from the terraces.

With Ngezi Platinum seemingly running away with the league title, this might actually be a title decider as Dynamos’ hopes of snatching the crown require them to collect three points from this fixture.

Any other result, Ngezi Platinum will be beyond the reach of Dynamos.

“We have changed the kick off of the game from 3pm to 6pm so that our supporters are able to come to the ground and support their team after work since it’s a mid-week game.

“So the game will be played under floodlights so that we can add and use the advantage of our supporters.

“We all know how important our fans are in such kind of games and we need their support that’s why we have decided for it to be played after working hours,” he said.
