A GROUP of journalists is exploring Manicaland’s stunning attractions ahead of the Sanganai/Hlanganani/Kumbanayi World Tourism Expo, set for 10 to 12 September at Mutare Sports Club.
The tour takes them through scenic gems like Honde Valley, Mtarazi Falls, and the misty Vumba Highlands. Honde Valley is famed for its rich birdlife, breathtaking landscapes, and picturesque tea estates, making it a paradise for nature lovers.

Now in its 18th year, the Expo brings together local and international tourism players to network, strike deals, and showcase the best of Zimbabwe and Africa.
Hosting the event in Manicaland for the first time signals Government’s commitment to devolution and to positioning the province as a tourism powerhouse.

From the mystical Chimanimani ranges to Africa’s second-highest waterfall, Mtarazi Falls, Manicaland offers unmatched beauty ready to captivate global buyers and travelers.
As September marks Tourism Month worldwide, the Expo highlights Zimbabwe’s vision to grow tourism into a key driver of economic growth and global recognition.
