Maphosa wins in Chinhoyi

Doctor Maphosa won the inaugural Chirorodziva Classic in Chinhoyi at the weekend. Maphosa completed rounds of 76, 70 and 68 for a total of 214 in the 54-hole tourney. John Milanzi finished second. A former Chapman player, Milanzi carded rounds of 77, 76 and 76 to finish on 229. Howard Bauti was third after rounds of 76, 79 and 77 and Never Milanzi was fourth.

Meanwhile, in the US PGA Brendon de Jonge missed the cut in the Wyndham Championships at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, New York.
