ZIMBABWE Women’s rugby captain Precious Marange has commended the team following their fine performance at the Middelburg Sevens Rugby tournament which took place in South Africa last week.
The Zimbabwe team played five games and recorded four draws and a win during the entire event.
Marange feels the team has improved this year, compared to their previous performance and she said she was pleased with their efforts and how they handled the games.

“I was very impressed with our performance. The team played very well, both our backs and forwards were good.
“In all our matches, our defence was tight. We did not leave anything to chance and that is why we registered 0-0 in four out of the five matches we played.”
