NO one has ever achieved greatness without dreams.
Focus, determination and passion can make dreams come true and leave lasting impressions.
This aptly sums up how model Pauline Marere has been weaving her way to the top in pageantry.
The reigning Miss Environment Zimbabwe is now eyeing a world title when she takes on other contestants at the upcoming Miss Environment International set for India on June 15.
The beauty queen, who has several crowns to her name, is taking pride in representing her country on the global stage.
She will leave the country tomorrow and is expected in camp on June 4.
“I am excited to represent my country in India and I am leaving on Friday. On June 5, we are going to have an orientation meeting, registration of participants, contract signing, fittings, photoshoot and rehearsals for the sashing ceremony.
“Other activities will be going on as we wait for the grand finale.
“The rehearsals for the finals are set for June 14 and the grand finale on June 15,” she said.
Pauline could not hide her joy as the model is set to showcase her stuff at the highest level.
“This is the journey of my life and my country.
“Personally, it’s a milestone and I appreciate the support I am getting from everyone, family and friends.
“Hard work can get you anything and these are the fruits from it.
“This is a dream and I hope to bring the crown home. This should be a historic and inspirational journey to other girls.”
To date, she has won different titles, including Miss Africa Continent, and Miss Pan African pageants.
