Maringwa hails Murape Murape

The two players are DeMbare’s longest serving members, and shortly after Maringwa was honoured by the club he revealed that he was sharing the honour and prize money of US$1 000 with his long-time teammate.
“I am happy to receive this award and I feel honoured. It is such a great honour. I would like to thank the executive, but I also feel I should share with Murape who took the baton when I got injured and inspired the

youngsters. He played a crucial role and has always served the club whole heartedly. He will get US$500 and I will get the other half.
“Murape has shown the young players what it means to play for Dynamos and he is a symbol of the passion that players should display overtime they pull on the blue jersey.

“I cannot give enough praise to him, and by sharing this award to him, I hope he will see how much he means to the Dynamos family and to his teammates.

“He led the youngsters to the league and cup double as I was sidelined by an injury, and he has consistently played his heart out”.said Maringwa
The Dynamos skipper also played a big role in encouraging the midfielder to change his heart when he announced that he was hanging his boots.
