Legends Bar in Marondera has breathed life into the sleepy Mashonaland East town through hosting a number of popular musicians over the last weekends.
The bar, which opened towards the end of last year, has hosted exciting shows and people from the town now throng the spot for memorable nightlife experiences.

Musicians that have performed at the venue include Suluman Chimbetu, Peter Moyo, Romeo Gasa and Extra Kwazvose.

The bar will also bring rhumba vibes to Marondera when it hosts BV Labien Musica tomorrow and Diamond Musica next weekend.

Owner of the venue Daniel Masaiti said they engaged BV Labien Musica they saw the group’s performance in Warren Park recently.

“Patrons have been arguing on which artistes they want in this bar but I just decided to have many genres,” he said.

The bar has an uptown set up complimented by a VIP lounge. He said he was looking forward to a great show with the rhumba group.

BV Labien Musica was last year hit by a split that led to the birth of Super Labien Musica that confused the market.

“Problems have been coming because we have someone who has been booking shows in our name but now the dust settled and we are now looking ahead,” said group director Sam Chamangwana.
