DYNAMOS coach, Herbert Maruwa, has said he is happy with how his boys are gelling following Saturday’s 1-0 win over Shesham in a pre-season friendly game in Gweru on Saturday.

New skipper Frank Makarati scored the only goal of the game four minutes from full time.

“I’m happy with the way the guys applied themselves. You know that we are building a new team and the response I’m getting is awesome.

“It’s a process, we need to make sure we improve our movement when going forward.

“The boys are doing well at the back, but we need to score the chances we create,” he said.

Maruwa hinted at adding a few players before the transfer window closes.

“It depends, maybe we can get one or two players, but so far I can’t promise anything. We might add a goalkeeper and another defender,” he said.

Maruwa replaced Tonderai Ndiraya, who led DeMbare to a third-place finish in the 2021/2022 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.
