adminWe know it’s only September, but the Queen of Hip Hop/Soul is already rolling out her renditions of yuletide carols from her upcoming holiday album ‘A Mary Christmas’. Earlier this week, Blige dropped the tracklist and a short preview of the holiday set, now here’s the full track number four, “This Christmas.”
Mary takes the Donny Hathaway classic and keeps it traditional, adding lush strings and horns (thanks to renowned arranger/producer David Foster) and classic Mary vocal stylings to make it distinctly MJB.
“A Mary Christmas” drops on October 15. – Singersroom.
