Mash East clinics well-stocked with Covid-19 vaccines

Mashonaland East acting provincial medical director Dr Paul Matsvimbo has urged people to come forward and receive their Covid-19 jabs, with both urban and rural clinics in the province well-stocked.

Government has already announced it is targeting to vaccinate 10 million people to achieve herd immunity.

“All of our clinics and hospitals in the province have vaccines and we are encouraging people to go and get vaccinated,” said Dr Matsvimbo.

“We want to thank our Government for the purchase of an additional 6,5 million vaccines, taking the total number of doses acquired to just over 12 million which will enable us to achieve herd immunity.”

Mashonaland East province has a target to vaccinate at least 1 038 372 people, while 72 950 had been vaccinated by yesterday.
