MASHONALAND West Province continued with their dominance in the National Closed Darts event that was held at Hillside Teachers College in Bulawayo recently.
The province’s two in-form players Melusi Medi and Keith Chikowa won the most 180s and the highest closure in the men’s category respectively.
A total of 14 men’s teams and eight women’s sides took part in the annual event.
The men’s category was won by Mashonaland West ahead of Bulawayo A while Bulawayo B went home with the bronze medal.
Four boys teams and two girls sides also took part in the highly competitive event.
Matabeleland South and Mash West were the only two provinces who brought girls teams and they were both awarded with gold medals for their participation.
