Sunday Mail Reporter
Former Zanu-PF Mashonaland West provincial chairman John Mafa has died.
He died at Chegutu Nursing Home yesterday morning after suffering from congestive cardiac failure.
Zanu-PF national political commissar Webster Shamu said the death was a great loss to the party.
“He was a committed cadre, who participated in the liberation struggle and remained a great servant of Zanu-PF,” he said.

Zanu-PF Mashonaland West provincial chairman Temba Mliswa said: “He was a very humble, sober man and his advice and contribution to the party will be missed.”

Mourners are gathered at Mafa’s Toffin Farm in Chegutu.
