Minister of State for Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and chairperson of the Provincial task force on Covid-19 Minister Mary Mliswa launched the Kadoma public places disinfection programme as the province moves to compliment Government efforts to fight the deadly virus.
Minister Mliswa together with the Health and Child Care Parliamentary Portfolio Committee member Cde Josephine Shava also toured Ingezi Clinic in Kadoma which has been earmarked for a district isolation centre by the city council.
The Kadoma Economic Development Chamber donated disinfectants for the public places and personal protective equipment, saniters, infrared thermometer and taped water buckets for Kadoma Prison while business man Cde Jimayi Muduvuri donated a building for use as an isolation centre.
Chinhoyi University of Technology handed over 40litres of alcohol based sanitisers and 100 facemasks
