Mashonaland Central commemorate Defence Forces Day

Chipadze Stadium in Bindura was today filled to the brim as people from different parts of Mashonaland Central Province converged to commemorate Defence Forces Day.


Mashonaland Central Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Christopher Magomo led proceedings which started in the morning.

He inspected a parade mounted by the Headquarters Artillery Brigade before reading the President’s speech.

He also gave out 200 Zimbabwe Independence medals that were awarded to 200 war veterans in recognition of their role in liberating the country.
