Mashonaland East Province Chiefs Council launches Nhaka Muchero project

Mashonaland East Province Chiefs Council today launched the Nhaka Muchero project, a part of the Mvura Naya Naya concept.

This is a community rural entrepreneurship initiative that advocates for robust rural development through the planting of fruit trees which can provide benefits for generations to come.

The Nhaka Muchero project is also in line with the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Today, each Chief in the province received ten trees, from Government through the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works as well as from various partners.
