More than 30 Zimdancehall acts will on August 12 converge at DZ Stadium in Harare for a reunion gig.

Dubbed “Let us Fill Up DZ Stadium”, the event is also a celebration of the genre’s game-changers and newcomers.

Household names led by Freeman, Killer T and DJ Fantan will headline the event.

Zimdancehall “old horses” comprising Sniper Storm, King Shaddy and Jay C are also part of the billing.

New-comers including Libho, Joker T and Flex H have been included in the line-up.

Event coordinator, Jack Dzambasa said the event is meant to celebrate the Zimdancehall movement.

“It is a get-together for us to reflect on the successes of the genre which has created employment for youngsters,’ he said.

“We now have superstars in a genre that was once despised.”
