MASVINGO model, Hazel Lisa Mushore (21) is excited that she will be representing the ancient city of Masvingo in the Miss Ghetto fabulous pageant in Harare on 3 December.

Mushore was crowned queen at a blissful event organised by Don Claude Entertainment in partnership with Oblivious Talent Management Agency at Victoria Hotel on Saturday.

She will rub shoulders with other models from all the country’s 10 provinces, running under the theme “My beauty exposed.”

The national pageant is aimed at instilling confidence in girls from the ghetto or the country’s high-density suburbs.

Mushore said she was honoured to represent her hometown at a national level.

“I am so excited and I feel honoured that I will be representing my hometown at national level,” she said.

She also said this was the first time for her to be crowned queen as she was always focusing on vixen modelling.

“This is my first time being crowned a queen, I started modelling in 2018 but I have always been doing vixen modelling, which focuses on music video shooting only,” said Mushore.

“I also had a challenge with my parents as they did not want me to focus on modelling because they thought I was going to drop out of school, but I had to explain to them that educational background is a requirement for me to be successful in modelling.”

Born in Masvingo and bred at the high-density suburb of Rujeko A, Mushore is studying Digital Marketing at TelOne Centre of Learning in Harare.
