People in Gokwe Central have been urged to vote for President Mnangagwa and zanu-pf in the coming general elections.
Cde Victor Matemadanda said it was good for people to give the new dispensation time.
“The people of Gokwe we have been remembered at last. My presence in the Politburo means a lot.
“It is the same party that has saved the people in Mapfungautsi forest who were about to be evicted,” he said.
Cde Matemadanda said by voting for President Mnangagwa the people were voting for the development of Gokwe.
“Gokwe was becoming a laughing stock and we have areas that had poor road and communication networks, but if we vote for President Mnangagwa this will be a thing of the past,” he said.
Cde Matemadanda won zanu-pf primary elections and will be representing the party in Gokwe Central in the forthcoming general elections.
“We have a number of projects that we have lined up. These projects include the repair of boreholes, construction of bridges and upgrading our schools. We want the best for this constituency,” he said.
He said gone were the days when legislators would bribe the electorate.
“We want real development in this constituency and we have no time for projects that benefit individuals,” he said.
