Matter of fact

ON Tuesday we reported, in an article entitled, “BCC forex revenue slightly improves”, that the Bulawayo City Council’s 50 percent debt cancellation policy was set to benefit residents who pay their bills in foreign currency.

In the same report, it was inaccurately stated that residents who would have paid their bills in full would also get a 50 percent credit to their accounts.

The correct position is that the BCC has only extended a 50 percent discount to residents who pay in foreign currency. The error is sincerely regretted —Editor.
