adminIN Wednesday’s edition of Chronicle, we erroneously reported that the Chief Executive Officer of Beitbridge Rural District council Albert Mbedzi earns a monthly salary of $15,210 ($8,132 basic and $7,078 allowances). This was actually the salary and benefits for the late Beitbridge Town Council Secretary Dr Sipho Singo.
According to the schedule of salaries and benefits of Heads of Local Authorities released by government on Tuesday, Mbedzi actually earns a basic pay of $1,877 and allowances of $2,947 to bring his total earnings to $4,824.
