The club president said they also wanted to boost their support base in this mining town and rallied on residents to back their project.
Mawere replaced Nathan Shoko, who stepped down as club president after two years in charge, and was given the role of honorary president.
Thadson Zhou, Lovett Wadawareva and Elton Nyoka were appointed into the advisory board while Lloyd Shirichena took over the role of fund-raising officer with former secretary-general, Phil Muvengwa, joining the committee that will oversee the commercial activities of the club.
