MBARE Academy yesterday received a timely boost from Imara Capital at the Dairibord Schools Rugby Festival when they landed a kit sponsorship deal.
The deal includes warm-up and playing kit.
“We are happy to be associated with Mbare Academy. We have been watching them play over a period of time,” said Imara executive director, Tino Kambasha.
“Coming on board to the Mbare Academy family with the kit is a beginning of great things to come and in Sahili Imara means strong, something which brands well with the Mbare Academy logo which is of a strong gorilla.
“Mbare have that extra edge and spirit and all that is also embodied in Imara.”
Mbare Academy chairman Maxwell Mutowo said they were humbled by the support.
“We feel very humbled to have Imara and this sponsorship comes in at just the right time,” said Mutowo.
“They have also been taking care of our camp and transport costs for the Dairibord Schools Rugby Festival, so we really appreciate what they have done for us.”
Mbare Academy have been one of the teams to watch at the festival.
