Mberengwa murder: Police hunt for suspects in connection with young woman’s death

Police in Mberengwa are searching for two suspects, Manyaya Muvhecha and Shepherd Mhundoga, in connection with the murder of a suspected commercial sex worker, 20-year-old Viola Hove.
Midlands Provincial police spokesman Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said the suspects allegedly spent the night with

Hove and another woman, before accusing Hove of stealing their money.
“After a disagreement, Hove was last seen heading to the police station with the suspects, but she never returned,” he said.
Insp Mahoko said her body was later found in an abandoned house with visible injuries.
“The police are appealing for information on the suspects’ whereabouts,” he said.
