MDC-T recalls B/bridge mayor, two councillors

MDC-T has recalled Beitbridge Mayor Councillor Morgan Ncube and two other councillors as it continues to rid local authorities of officials aligned to MDC-Alliance leader Mr Nelson Chamisa.

The other two are Ward 5 councillor and finance committee chair Granger Nyoni Ward 5 and ward 6 councillor Agnes Tore, who chairs the social services committee.

Those that survived the axe are councillors Munyaradzi Chitsunge (Ward 2 and deputy mayor), Takavingei Mahachi (Ward 3) and Den Muleya (Ward 1).

Local Government Minister July Moyo has since written to Beitbridge town clerk, Mr Loud Ramakgapola informing him of the latest development.
