MDC-T recalls nine legislators

THE Dr Thokozani Khupe led MDC-T has recalled nine Members of Parliament after the opposition party said they had ceased to represent their interests in the legislative assembly.

The latest recalls bring to 13  the number of legislators that have been recalled after four MPs were recalled last month.

The legislators that were recalled on Tuesday are Amos Chibaya, Happymore Chidziva, Basilia Majaya, Mutarairwa Mugido, Virginia Muradzikwa, Anna Muyambo, Francesica Ncube, Nomathemba Ndlovu and Murisi Zvidzai.

They were all elected under the banner of the MDC Alliance, a coalition of opposition parties that contested the 2018 harmonised elections.

They were seconded to the Alliance by the MDC-T which has recalled them from Parliament.
