Meet Miss Cowdray Park contestants

Passionate about youth empowerment, she hopes to see young people in Cowdray Park engaged in meaningful activities, accessing skills training, mentorship and funding for income-generating projects so they can build sustainable livelihoods and stay away from drugs and crime.

Age: 21
She believes that education is the key to a healthy and empowered youth, and is advocating for access to quality education. She maintains that every child should fully exercise their right to education, as they are the future of the nation.

Age: 21
She hopes to create a safe space for abused women and children, believing that violence and abuse can be prevented if victims are encouraged and supported to speak up.

Age: 21
She aims to empower young people to heal, find hope, and thrive. Recognising depression among the youth as a pressing issue, she is a strong advocate for mental health awareness and support.


Diana Mlawuzi
Age: 17
She hopes to uplift her community by promoting cleanliness, reducing littering and encouraging residents to take pride in keeping their surroundings clean and healthy.

Age: 17
She is committed to empowering every girl child to find her voice, speak up for herself, and stand confidently for her rights and dreams.

Age: 22
She aims to use the Miss Cowdray Park platform to empower youths, encouraging them to assert themselves and make positive choices. Her focus includes discouraging harmful practices like skin bleaching and prostitution.

She advocates against gender-based violence, urging young people to speak out. Her message: “Your voice is your weapon — use it. Do not fall prey to this monster. You are not a victim; you are a survivor.”
