Several musicians will join hands with Mbare-bred chanter Kinnah as he celebrates his 24th birthday at Mbare Netball Complex on Saturday. Musicians Killer T, Soul Jah Love, Dhadza D, Lady Squanda and Ricky Fire among others have already confirmed their participation. Show organiser Tinotenda Zishiri said they have set everything for the show. “This is a birthday bash and we are expecting people to come and enjoy with the young musician,” he said.
He said they have hired enough security for the gig that will start late afternoon. “I think music lovers that will come for the bash understand that we are celebrating not to have violence. In case of such cases there is enough security,” he said.
Killer T who has been performing well at most of his gigs is expected to shine with his new songs such as “Chenzira”. The musician who is currently in studio working on some songs with Shinsoman promised fireworks at the gig. Ricky Fire will be playing his hits such as “Kumba Kunouya Kuno” and “Uchitamba” that have been considered party songs.
