adminMETRO FM’s DJ Sbu faces the chop from his day job after showing his bosses the middle finger. According to insiders, the DJ may be fired after his stunt on Friday when he defied orders to collect his suspension letter. He may even lose Friends Like These, his SABC 1 TV show.
The station mandarins instructed security guards to physically block him if he tried to bulldoze his way into their Auckland Park studios on Saturday, where he was to present his show Sound Rivival between 12pm and 3pm. But DJ Sbu was finally served his suspension letter when he pitched up for work yesterday with a Mo Faya drink in his hand, wearing a promo T-shirt with the drink’s brand emblazoned across his chest.
Meanwhile, Cassper Nyovest and Amanda du Pont might be over, but the remnants of their affair lingers.
The actress Amanda is featured in the latest video for Cassper’s new single Ghetto featuring DJ Drama and Anatii.
The video comes on the heels of his massive win at the Metro FM Music Awards and where he also revealed that he lost out on Amanda.
During his performance of Phumakim, Cassper, real name Refiloe Phoolo changed the lyrics of his hit to:
“Even Amanda du-Pont wasn’t tailored for me, now I really f**k with women as famous as me.”- Sundayworld.
