SEASONED Zimbabwean body-builder Godwin Simbarashe Mhaka continued to lift the country’s flag high after he finished placed second at the World Fitness Championship in Berlin Germany on Saturday.
Mhaka who is not new to winning international contests was on cloud nine and thanked everyone who rallied behind him before he left for Europe.
The hulk who has since turned professional said he was grateful to all his sponsors and everyone who supported him.
“A big thanks to all my sponsors for this world biggest’s show which I manage to finish placed as the runner-up. I am grateful to my platinum sponsor SebamEnergy, Musabvunda Fitness And Lifestyle, Tuff Industries and all those who supported me through this journey.
“I am happy for the support from Collin Mushunje Marimba, Lawson Fitness, Juice the Strongest Total Fitness Zimbabwe, continental wire and everyone who was behind me.
“I hope you will keep on showing me support, I really appreciate your efforts,’ said Mhaka. The seasoned athlete has however dropped a hint on calling it a day on his body-building career.
“My dream has come true, however, age is now calling me and I think it is now the right time for me to say bye to the stage and focus on Admin to make sure I will also support and grow young athletes by creating ground for them to achieve their goals as well.
